The Tactical Unicorn Gun Shop is a family-owned gun store located in Barbourville, KY. We offer a selection of firearms and accessories and focus on straightforward service for our local community.
I along with my two sons Nathan and Logan decided to take a chance in our hometown and open this Gunshop in October 2021. Our family has always had a strong belief in the 2nd Amendmant and the right of all people to bare arms. We want people to have a safe environment to look, handle, and learn about different weapons. We also want them to be able to shop locally and know that they are getting as good a price here as they can find driving to Lexington or Knoxville. After lots of thought and several discussions with other local business owners that we trust, we chose to open in a little more unconvential location. We had an empty 2500 square foot building on our property that has made a great Gun Shop, We are less than 3 minutes from the Wal Mart shopping center and by utilizing a building we already owned we have almost no overhead which allows us to price competeivly with the big name gun shops. We look forward to serving our community and other surrounding towns with good service and great prices.
Was driving during a long cross state trip and saw the name show up in Google maps. Saw the logo and my partner wanted to check it out. Very kind people, gave us cool stickers of their unicorn logo and we headed out. Fun stop on a long trip.

I cant say enough good things about The Tactical Unicorn and their staff. They are very knowledgeable about their product and any questions you may have. They have a wide variety of firearms, ammo, and accessories. If they don't have it, they will get is ASAP. This is a locally owned family business that really appreciates the community. They enjoy helping customers find exactly what they are looking for and not just trying to make a sale.
